Fellowship Bible Church Men's Ministry

Summary of Biblical manhood

A Christian man treasures Christ above all and by this, brings glory to his King. Given his God-assigned masculinity, he leads, protects and provides, with all patience, humility, joy and faithfulness, even as he passionately pursues growth into the man God created him to be in Christ, empowered by the Holy Spirit.

Mission

Train and guide the men of the church to lead based on the truth found in the Word of God, dependent on their faith in Christ, the Holy Spirit and prayer.

Service Ministry for Men

The past year has been a good growth period for our Men's Ministry.  We are now working on organizing our men to help those in our church and our community through the knowledge, skills and time for the glory of God by the love of Christ.  Please review our Service Ministry mission statement and provide some information about your knowledge and skills so that you can be a blessing to the church.

Men's Conference - June 13 and 14, 2014

Unplug the world from your life and plug into the plan God has for each of us.  This conference is not about removing yourself from the world but removing the world from your life.

Paul tells us in 1 Cor 5:9, "I wrote to you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people -- not at all meaning the sexually immoral of this world, or the greedy and swindlers, or idolaters, since then you would need to go out of the world.  But now I am writing to you not to associate with anyone who bears the name of brother if he is guilty of sexual immorality or greed, or is an idolater, reviler, drunkard, or swindler -- not even to eat with such a one."

We can see from this that it is within ourselves, within the church that change occurs.  It is through our living as a reflection of Christ that we influence a fallen world around us.  So we want to unplug the world from us and in doing so we affect the world around us.
